Elodie Hekimian-brogan (she/her) is the Exhibition and Programming Intern through the Getty Marrow Undergraduate Internship Program.
Elodie is a junior at UCLA studying Studio Art. Born and raised on the West Side of Los Angeles, she is proud to be an Angeleno and works with the Los Angeles queer community. Focused on curating and documenting sapphic spaces in Los Angeles, Elodie started Sapphic Sesh, a sapphic club at UCLA with over 600 members, offering space for lesbians and queer people on campus. Especially interested in lesbian spaces of the past, Elodie volunteers at the June L. Mazer Lesbian Archives.
Elodie has worked with the Getty Museum as an Education Intern and now works as a Student Educator at the Hammer Museum. Her experience in arts education has impacted her desire to push for arts accessibility in schools and museums.
In her free time, Elodie rides her four bikes, makes buttons, goes down archive.org rabbit holes, and goes dancing!
