You’re invited to join our exhibition tour on October 30, 2021! RSVP’s are required.

Join us for an exhibition walkthrough with “Pride Publics: Words and Actions” curator Rubén Esparza and producer Umi Hsu. This exhibition tour will give you stories and insights into each artist, their practice, and their contribution to the LGBTQ+ art and activism world. Visitors will have an opportunity to ask questions about the artwork and artists featured in the exhibition.

This one-time exhibition tour is offered on the closing date of the exhibition on Saturday, October 30, 3pm, at the installation site at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

UPDATE: Pride Publics: Words and Actions is on view now through Sunday October 31 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Location: 1315 N Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The exhibition is mounted on the fence on the south end of the park, near the Welcome Center, facing the interior of the park.

Exhibition parking is available on the mulch area in front of the park facing Spring Street.

About the Exhibition

With 28 large-scale wheatpasted posters installed in a public site, “Pride Publics: Words and Actions” stages a visual dialogue between historical and contemporary LGBTQ+ changemakers. This exhibition is organized by One Institute and curated by Rubén Esparza. The installation is on view at the Los Angeles State Historic Park through Sunday October 31, 2021.
