Join us for the launch party of digital exhibition you are here with Youth Ambassadors on July 16, 2020!

you are here, an online exhibition on Instagram – featuring works from the Youth Ambassadors for Queer History program cohort 2019-2020 – will be launched on Thursday July 16, 2020. Come to our virtual launch party to celebrate the Youth Ambassadors and hear about their creative projects, in response to moments of queer history most meaningful to them. Congratulations to Youth Ambassadors 2020!

Announcing special guest Miles McKenna!

Miles McKenna is an actor, author, activist and Shorty Award winning social media creator. Across his multiple social platforms, Miles continues to share his journey identifying as trans and is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. On top of his digital presence, Miles is an actor who has starred in Hulu comedy series Grad Night, Now We’re Talking opposite Tommy Dewey, and recently filmed Amazon and Blumhouse anthology series, Nocturne, set for release in 2020.

Miles has also creatively collaborated with prominent companies like Google, HBO, Lyft, AT&T and is active in various LGBTQ+ organizations across the nation including GLSEN, Encircle and the Trevor Project. Last year, Miles wrote his first book – Out! – an ultimate coming-out survival guide that documents his transition to help other teens navigate their identities and take charge of their own coming-out stories. The book will be published by Abrams in October 2020.
