Join One Institute and STORIES: The AIDS Monument for a screening and conversation on the hit web series, Poz Roz. This digital comedy series explores the life of 20-something Rozzlyn Mayweather after an HIV+ diagnosis rocks her already shaky world. The screening will be followed by a conversation with artists and activists discussing the impact of HIV on their lives and work.

Moderated by Tony-nominated actress, singer, author, and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph; panelists will include Chauntae Pink (star of POZ ROZ, singer, songwriter, actress); Carlton Jordan (creator of POZ ROZ); and  activists Porchia Dees and Lynnea Lawson.

This program is presented by the One Institute and STORIES: The AIDS Monument. It supports the One Institute’s exhibition Metanoia: Transformation Through AIDS Archives and Activism. The program also coincides with LOVE POSITIVE WOMEN (LPW), an international series of grassroots events started by Jessica Whitbread that uses Valentines Day as a backdrop to create a platform for individuals and communities to engage in public and private acts of love and caring for women living with HIV. Working from a place of strength, LPW focuses on the idea of interconnectedness, relationship building, loving oneself, and loving ones’ community.
