Wren Monroe (he/him)Oxy InternLA Public Programs Intern

Wren (he/him) is the Public Programs Intern through Occidental College’s InternLA program.

Wren is currently a sophomore at Occidental College majoring in Diplomacy and World Affairs. His academic focus is centered on decolonial movements and the development of self-sustaining communities, with a strong interest in how grassroots organizing can reshape global and local systems.

Outside of academics, Wren has experience working with the Seattle Art Museum as part of its Teen Arts Group. There he developed a passion for public programming and expanding access to the arts. He is deeply committed to making creative spaces more inclusive and accessible to all communities, and believes that access to cultural institutions is crucial.

Wren also serves as the Marketing E-Board Chair for Occidental College’s Mutual Aid Club, where he helps promote resource-sharing initiatives and community-driven support systems. Through both his academic and extracurricular work, Wren hopes to continue bridging the worlds of art, community engagement, and educational programming.
