Join us for a vision boarding workshop with queer history resources!

Let’s Make a Space for Healing is the inaugural workshop in the Youth Ambassadors Online series, taking place on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 4PM PDT. The goal of this free student workshop is to activate a conversation among youth on creating a space for healing for young people (grades 6-12) in this time. We learn a bit about healing justice and activism from the AIDS community and hear from Katherine Cheairs, co-curator of the exhibition Metanoia: Transformation through AIDS Archives and Activism. Through a series of prompts and brainstorming activities, we will imagine and make plans toward building spaces for healing in our lives. Participants will be able to take away potential ideas for actions and practices toward building healing spaces across multiple domains of teen life.

To participate, you must complete the following:

  1. Register for the workshop
  2. Complete the Parental Permission Slip

Please note that workshop participants must be a 6-12 grade level student and submit a signed Parental Permission Slip. See above.

If you have any questions, please contact Director of Education, Erik Adamian, at [email protected].
